Untitled Sans is a plain neo-grotesk released by Klim Type Foundry in 2017, drawn by Kris Sowersby to look as if it were not designed by anyone in particular. He developed it by trimming and rationalizing National into something plainer, then spent several years validating an ordinary, unassuming sans against the Super Normal ideas of Jasper Morrison and Naoto Fukasawa. The face has no contemporary tricks or overt historical references, and is meant to recede into everyday settings. It is related to Untitled Serif by concept only, not by skeleton or shared aesthetic. The family comprises ten styles from Light to Black, with matching italics.
