Futura PT is a geometric sans serif designed by Vladimir Yefimov and Isabella Chaeva and published by ParaType in 1991. Its design comes from Paul Renner’s Futura, created in the 1920s under the influence of avant-garde movements such as the Bauhaus and inspired by basic geometric forms. That original face reflected a then-modern view of purity in both form and functionality. The ParaType family spans thin to extra bold with matching obliques and includes condensed styles.
