FT Bureau Font

FT Bureau is a sharply cut, Renaissance-inspired transitional serif by Harrison Marshall for Frost. Its letterforms look back to handcrafted metal punch cuts from Renaissance European printing, reflecting the hard edges and elegant curves of old-style serifs such as Granjon and Garamond. Drawn digitally, those references became sharp vectors, producing crisp serifs and, in the italic styles, horizontal flat ink traps. The family comprises eight weights from Light to Black, each with a matching italic.
