Gill Sans Font

Gill Sans is a sans serif designed by the English artist and type designer Eric Gill and issued by Monotype from 1928 to 1930. Its roots can be traced to the typeface Gill’s teacher, Edward Johnston, designed for the signage of the London Underground Railway in 1918. The family ranges from Light to Ultra Bold, with italics for the principal weights, and includes condensed, extra-condensed, display, and shadowed styles.
