Saans Font

Saans is a neutral, no-style grotesque that Displaay Type Foundry designed as a default system font for its own brand. The studio needed a design that would complement, rather than compete with, its retail library and support a no-style graphic-design aesthetic. Like Swiss typefaces, Saans is universal and untitled—an ordinary, default choice that can seem pedestrian, yet remains consistent, moderate, and unobtrusive. The collection comprises three families, Saans, Saans SemiMono, and Saans Mono, and a variable font with weight, slant, and mono axes.
