Messina Sans is a sans serif based on the International Style of the twentieth century, with clean lines, simple construction, and a modernist character. Designed by Luzi Gantenbein and released by Luzi Type in 2015, it belongs to the Messina family with companion Serif and Modern styles for editorial, identity, and online work. A clear range of weights is meant to keep typography consistent and page color balanced. The family comprises Normal, Condensed, and Mono, issued as individual weights from Hairline to Black with matching italics, and as a variable font.
