ABC Favorit Font

ABC Favorit is a straightforward, low-contrast grotesque that combines geometric rigidity with subtle oddities and a humorous touch. Fabian Harb, Johannes Breyer, and Mingoo Yoon designed the typeface, which ABC Dinamo released in 2016. Favorit Lining embeds a smart underline so descending characters can merge into unconventional shapes, and Connected mode joins a word’s first and last letters with an extreme underline. Sub-families include Compressed, Condensed, Extended, and Expanded widths, monospaced Favorit Mono, and later Greek, Cyrillic, Hangul, and Arabic versions.
