Image Compressor
Compress, resize, and convert production images in a private browser workflow, with clear before-and-after file sizes and batch downloads.
Your files stay in this browser. Nothing you select is uploaded to MaxiBestOf.
Format choice
Choose the output for its destination
WebP is a useful default for websites. JPEG works well for photographic delivery and broad compatibility. PNG is appropriate for interface assets, sharp flat graphics, or transparency.
Every settings change starts again from the original file, so repeated quality and dimension adjustments do not stack generation loss.
Image sizing
Export only the pixels the layout needs
Set a longest edge for mixed landscape and portrait batches, a fixed width for editorial cards, or a percentage for a proportional pass. Images are never enlarged.
Compare the reported original and output sizes per file. A larger output is reported honestly rather than presented as a saving.

Frequently asked questions
Which image formats can I add?
The tool accepts JPEG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, BMP, and GIF files that your browser can decode. Animated inputs are flattened to a static frame.
Does compression remove metadata?
Yes. Canvas rendering creates a new pixel file and does not carry EXIF, location, camera, or other source metadata into the export. Orientation is applied while the original is decoded.
What if a compressed file is larger?
The result is still shown and clearly marked as larger. Small images, already optimized files, or an unsuitable output format can grow after re-encoding; try a different format or quality.
