Trade Gothic Font

by Linotype

Trade Gothic is a sans serif whose first cuts were designed by Jackson Burke in 1948. He continued work on further weights and styles until 1960 while director of type development for Mergenthaler-Linotype in the United States. The family does not display as much unifying structure as other popular sans serifs. It includes light, roman, bold, and Bold No. 2, with matching obliques, as well as condensed, bold condensed, and extended widths from Linotype.
